i'll admit, i'm a progenitor

by Charlie Morgan

r-cat talks of an intense, ten-second bliss
that innocently starts with a lover's kiss.

quickly turning from moist neck and palms,
to sweaty groins and with quelled qualms.

i, too, got involved to nudge his point on
now i have a daughter, grandchild of my own.

to serve mankind in all ways with a smile
will be the etching on this, smiling God-child.

evermore, and beyond all outstretched grasps
reaching forward, and upward trying to clasp

all that's seen by the eyes and heart
is really Love perceived as First: the start.

There are always outcomes for our actions, eh Chaz? Some of them are wonderful and last a lifetime...others are just passing through. I guess we've all had both at some point...I like the way you took that 'ten seconds' down that other fork in the road... my hats off to you; well writ in the Chaz style - Thanks for the inclusion, it will surely boost my career!
