naked people by Charlie Morgan
they're everywhere, you just need to know
where to look for them.
i've seen them at work, on the bus,
in church, [along with hypocrites,
i know i was there!]
and
at the grocer...squeezing the fruit
and not caring if the fruit likes it.
and
they've been naked since
the day they were born and
like every queen Victoria before them
started to clothe their nakedness.
still,
i know they're naked and now you do.
just because they are wearing the latest
fashion, or thrown-away fraternity
jerseys...
they are only clothed to your eyes;
an Oracle's eye bellows their nakedness;
for[in Truth],
they're naked.

| Posted by Rula Shin on 05/05/05 at 07:34 PM Ah yes, this is very meaningful. Like the "emperor's new clothes" we are not what we project. Very nicely done! |

It's supposed to relax you, give you an even footing, but all it did with me is make me laugh, scare me, or leave me horny for the young thing in the front row! - I think you've done a great job of summing up the human condition; not all is what it seems - RCat |
