Reading through the wishes
that Thought gave birth to - Word
Searching for the message
my heart longs to be heard
I find there is no presage
is no spoken word
laid upon the soft smooth skin
of paper will impart
my wish that begs be written
crying out from heart
thoughts of fire unbidden
tearing me apart
read again between the lines
hear my wish of heart
