The pearly brown piper

by Nikki Benson

Silly, silly girl you thought you knew
Silly, silly girl you’d break the rules
You trusted in yourself and took it on
Surprise, surprise you slipped and broke your bones

And the coils of the peeping toms mattress
Will be bouncing with your blood
Cause you made the wrong decision
You were blinded by his pearly brown teeth

Silly, silly girl you thought you knew
Silly, silly girl you’d break the rules
You trusted in yourself and took it on
Surprise, surprise you slipped and broke your bones

And you flitter with your blind mothy wings
Towards gehenna’s dead bodies
But the draw is so appealing
The mush of sweet sweat for the rest of your life

But the sand man will soon be coming
For your forbidden glossy lover
And perhaps he’ll take you with him
To the vaporized grassy inferno

Don’t be one of his lemmings
You are going to pay the piper
Inside his elbows are overpriced
With your honor your tears and your blood

Silly, silly girl you thought you knew
Silly, silly girl you’d break the rules
You trusted in yourself and took it on
Surprise, surprise you slipped and broke your bones x2
