Grow the Garden of Me

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

fluttering thoughts escape my brain
chased away by shame
in and out as butterlies
before I grasp their whens or whys
I will plant flowers
lure them to stay
a small while longer
before they fly away
create a beautiful garden of mind
colorful flowers
scents sublime
seeds of love
blooms of hope
vines of charity
rake my yard
pull out the weeds
grow the garden of me

very symbolic...to represent you and your life as a garden you want to plant and how you want to get rid of the weeds makes known that although there are some thing you do not like you know you can remove them and discover that beautiful garden's potential...~JPP

...maria, okay, okay...this is for people isn't it?...this is so well said, i'm afraid since you're just using words that somebody will miss it...this is the very process of growing, changing [of course]and like a mushrooming cloud the change EVEN starts changing...serious description of the life we're in, we all are "growing me" and some of us grow right in the wrong direction...i need to stop, but at 58 you describe LIFE from my "now" perspective...right on! wonderful poem...just read it again, and ...wow! i'm gonna print this up and say i wrote it... ;-0 peace, chaz
