Caterpillar by Barbara GriffithI found a caterpillar
on my shoelace this morning,
when I went to leave for school.
All day I figured,
"Hey, that's pretty damn poetic.
Maybe I should write about it"
But then I remembered how I
flicked it off, and it
fell down onto the cement. 04/25/2005 Posted on 04/26/2005 Copyright © 2025 Barbara Griffith

I did find this more sad than funny though it certainly does 'sweep the rug from beneath itself' hahaha ....well, never will he become what is in his potential to become, though we as humans still have the chance...I hope haha I did enjoy this, very unique and thought provoking in a subtle kind of way :-) |
