It all fell into place so quickly,
And I realized I could graduate in December.

The next day,
The mercedes died.
In an intersection.
After the light turned green.

People honked, swerved, and pleasantly offered me their middle finger as help.
While I flailed for the hazard lights.

I got the beast started again
Using a few screamed choice words
And I wondered why life is so funny:
One good thing happens
With the bad to balance it out.

So now when people ask how I am
The honest answer would be medium
Because life can be great
But it can always come back to bite me in the ass.
