rainbow's final bow

by Charlie Morgan

at the rainbow's final bow,
scattering the bending light somehow,
all the rays of light refracted
are added to and not subracted
from the world's romance
and at length, we reach for a chance
to laugh and giggle like 3rd graders
gathering the lovers and not haters.

and

making my life with them be real
instead of being drained of the love i feel
for you, for those who are different then,
who give my life a Cheshire's grin.
and snuggling in the love i've found
from my crazy friends all around
and who, with this love given, at no fee,
drapes me in care for any to see.

Love this! Your use of rhyme here adds to the whole rainbow of colorful words. The line about the Cheshire's grin....wonderful.
