His emotional status
Illuminated sadness,
If that is even possible;
The constant bad luck
Of social
Of physical
Of mental
Anguish was beginning to
Capture his every being
But then, with little warning,
She graced his presence,
And only said two words,
But they meant light shown
Upon a darkening existence.
