You can't run life that way.
When you push a button
There is something that happens
Right away, not sometime.

Changing channels, we go from
Dinner to the living room,
Settle in for relax. Relax.
Don't detonate that bomb in your hand.

The volume goes up and stays there,
Listening is difficult when
Your hands control the levels.
So, hand it over.

Discussion of which channel
Comforting inquiry about the volume
Everyone happy and relaxed.
That's the way life should be.
