inhaling vapors

by Shonda Chrissonberry

I wish I could
hiccup you

o
u
t

but your air is too
thick and I guess
I am suffocating

on the lack of
us in me

or is it the
you in us

either way
I can't breath
without dying
inside these

empty pockets
of love

i really enjoyed, "on the lack of/us in me/or is it the/you in us". very clever and a well structured poem.

the last line is my favorite... empty pockets of love... that's just an awesome visual in itself. great work.
