this dark cloud has been
sitting above my head
from the start
day after day
I await its downpour
as it builds up
I can’t seem to make
my madness disappear
and I can’t seem to
out run this fear
and this memory of you
won’t let me be
you don’t know what it’s like
and you don’t know
how I miss the sleep
how I miss closing my eyes
and not seeing you there
and your mistakes haunt me
day after day these thoughts
eat the truth away
and you live on
and I die young
