I am a dream waiting to happen
waiting for someone to summon me
up from inside
A lifetime built of reactions
with no real creation
of my own
Bruised from a life of frustration
full in my ripeness
longing to be picked
Waiting for eyes closed
to finally open
open them up to me
see who I am
A dream caught in gestation
come give birth to me
before I die
