~ she sells seashells by the seashore ~ (tongues twisting) by Bethany LeeThe purity of the destruction of pompeii
paling in our partnering
soft tinkling of bells
in between seashells on ivory sand.
prayers came off my tongue in a way
that was frightening and young,
a fury of tastes and fingers,
the quiver you sent still lingers,
like butterfly kisses on my skin,
shivers leading to giggles,
leading to
laughter through dreams within
galaxies which hold in their hand
each single grain of sand
between my toes...
which lastnight were curled in contentment
from our dance of moans and throws...
passionate poetry in motion. 03/01/2005 Posted on 03/01/2005 Copyright © 2025 Bethany Lee
