i saw the line by Charlie Morgan
...i saw the line
where you and i
begin
and
end.
it moves in and out
of
our lives.
it breathes,
it has a life
all it's own.
from gamete and sperm,
to pulses and throbs,
from nurseries
to college,
college to career;
she is us.
and
we are her. 02/28/2005 Posted on 02/28/2005 Copyright © 2024 Charlie Morgan

Posted by Michele Schottelkorb on 02/28/05 at 06:30 PM you know, maybe it's because i'm pregnant with my second child, and maybe because i have often thought nearly these exact words when gazing on the precious child i made with my husband... either way, you have me crying tears with smiles with this one... i love this poem... yeah, there's a line... you've crossed it well... blessings... |
