THE DAY WE DIED by Phil WallingTHE DAY WE DIED
Let us talk about the day we died
Because we had the power to sit and cry
Let us feed the actions of the mind
Let us listen to the thoughts of time
When did we wonder of a curse?
- A tale of a wizards breath
- A sign of a holy death
And your lungs sucked an energy
And your heart is beating fast
And Jesus walked upon the sea
A dye is set within a cast.
Feeling love of unfamiliar thoughts
When suddenly the moment is caught
It tears apart the things we made
Leaves me alone with a word unsaid. 02/26/2005 Author's Note: peace
