FOREIGN FLYPAPER

by Phil Walling

FOREIGN FLYPAPER

Trudging through the muck
It was there in a shovelling case
Finding future shock
Travelling through chaotic space

Trapped in the city freeze
Walls are frozen in its place
A fallen apathy
I never had my own true face

What pride was hit
From fright to bored
What guilt was ate
In harm and hate

Sentence Cesspool
Never Shattered
Friction Frenzy
Bridge Mortar

Fishing for the touch
Lunge and grasp the glory
Rusty garden latch
If he's dead then I am sorry.

Windows wanders, catch it as you can
Foreign invaders, try me, I'm not a flea
Simple forray, a fence all around you
Holding me back, I'm falling too

Tempest desire Angel skirting furtive dance
Lost and alone Gypsy jerking tragic trance
Nothing beside me
Leaving for home

Open your eyes to a brand new start

This is the start
Of a brand new beginning
You're tearing my heart
I'm (coming) falling apart

The future is hope
Give me my rope
We never will forget (cope)
In presence we hope
And hang them with rope
Give me my rope.... (sunshine)

When this is the start
Of a brand new day
I'm ripping my heart
And coming apart

Let us walk
Through fields of green and evergreens
We'll not be seen (Journey)
Holding hands
We'll hide in the branches of the trees

'FOREIGN FLYPAPER'

Who said that?
I heard a voice...
A speech so foreign as if by choice

'INSIPID LIES"

We run, we hide within the gloom
I melt inside a darkened room
I feel abadoned inside this womb (tomb)
I think I've met my very doom

to be continued.....?
