CLOUDY BUBBLES by Phil WallingCLOUDY BUBBLES
Over the mountains
We sail away through mists of jade
In cloudy bubbles
Seeking the purple ever glade
Shadow creatures roam
Metal militant
With fascists thrust flangers and brass
Corporate pickles
Andante and dissidence
Sss tutter and whimper
Systems of worship
The dog kneels in prayer and bays
Tripod activity
The deck, the card is played.
Frequency cry
A voltage shock that shares the strain
Lingering devotions
The death throes of a dying breed.
Cloudy bubbles
Burst my brain, strain, choke and fly
In cloudy bubbles
toll the bell of sighs. . .
We wait here, we want here
Up there, motioning to me, a sign
becoming clearer, I see. . .
aaa. . .
Cloudy bubbles
Burst my brain, strain
Choke and fly
In cloudy bubbles
toll the bell of sighs.
