Memories by Tota LongmireLife spins round me in ever-outward circles.
Recent activities quickly spinning out and away,
Into the dimensionless void of the past.
Steadily becoming an ever more distant memory.
I feel my way through the intricate and complex circles,
To find a certain memory that I wish to save.
I pull it away from the void carefully and slowly,
Trying not to distort the already blurry picture of the past.
Gently I deposit the memory in my consciousness,
Live the happy, slightly blurry memory for a little.
When it is done it will drift away again,
Steadily outward into the void of the past.
