Lust

by Sam Roberts

Love has been lost some how,
Delicately washed, we took the pills
hung and miserable
veins
A constant sway

Black -
the corpses’ feet bang against the wall
Head forced to the floor- and
Pumping

Freedom has been found now
She rots away
Happy in her torture -
A nightmarish voice echo’s

“Love killed me some how,
so this is it -
The end,
black like the heart of my corpse”

Dark but Beautiful. The opening is amazing. :)

This is a really edgy piece, and a little sardonic. Great read.

I agree very deep, but so beautiful
