Green Windows by Tota LongmireLots of people see me,
Many hear my words
And see my actions.
Not all of them can read
What I'm saying behind it all.
So few of them see
The messages in my eyes.
Warnings, lies, sadness,
Emotions rarely shown.
I can control my face,
Guide my body's muscles.
Make them act for me.
What happens behind
These eyes of mine,
They show what is real.
These green windows.
Peek inside and see my soul. 01/28/2005 Posted on 01/28/2005 Copyright © 2025 Tota Longmire
