Assume by Jon-Jacob F DealThis will be the slinky lingerie
I never bought you
That you'll never wear--
Leaves precious little to the imagination,
While keeping the most interesting bits concealed
As I wield this pen with all the finesse
Of a brain surgeon with a chainsaw
I assume you know what they say about assumption
Or maybe you don't, who knows these days?
So if you ever wonder
Just what any of all this means
Or how I feel
Or what I think
Or if I care you think it's stupid
Or how much of this is about you
I will trot out the teddy, the garters, the bustier;
Words not sheer enough will stay a secret
Somewhere between Victoria and me--
But assume you are free to assume. 01/23/2005 Posted on 01/23/2005 Copyright © 2024 Jon-Jacob F Deal
