The Man in the Moon

by Jon-Jacob F Deal

I never realized the true expression
On the face of the man in the moon;
Staring dumbstruck through long space
Shedding white-pale horror in his waxy glow
Crater eyes wide with shock
Lunar-sea mouth an accusing O.

Once again, I'm struck by your imagery.
