the night crawls by Charlie Morgan
The Night Crawls
Our closest star shines her last drops
of warming rays as the sea clouds push her down.
A vibrant arrow of sea gulls slothily turn themselves
into a distant ribbon of throbbing winged glories of life.
Crossing the horizons blues of ocean aqua to ether gray,
their existence becomes dots in a far-away optic suspension.
Their wings caress the evening breeze with steady vigor
as the ocean waves soothe the coming night.
All things are.
Is, is.
