Seal to Play

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

I:::

Remembering scars that can't
forget the pain
ebbing lucidty and encroaching
morbidity is all that
I can yearn to earn

II:::

Perfection does have a price
I leased it from God
Bled to death from  the lack of flaws
Arias sang, corroded bells rangs
A blessed debt intoned

III:::

Christened "Worthy"
safe by my Savior's sincerity
Bells once more ringing
A melodic malodorous Rune

IV:::

My breath is sanctioned and surpassed only by my
need for suffocating l'amor
