Drugs do not Replace love

by Ava Blu

i want you to

stick a needle through my vein

until my arm is full

of the love

i need you

to want

to give

do you think we can market love?

i am sure someone
needs
a fix.

I love this metaphor. Ponder how true love also needs to be injected daily to remain potent and ward off the lows.

a placebo atleast? maybe? how many band-aids do we/you need to cover the hole? was there ever a wound? why do you think i disapear? is that why you lose interest in me/us? do have a vise beyond my comprehension? do you think im incapable of understanding? im no judge, but i try to asess the direction and plight of my will. and when i fail... everything around me fails/falls into the hole. i never expected any band-aids i have plenty of platelets for scabbing. where we ever direct? are metaphors and anologies lies? nevermind.... i didnt mean to disturb you:)

I can relate to this. Love is better than any drug on the market- in fact, for some people, love IS a drug. Great, well written piece!
