EMPTY RAIN

by Phil Walling

EMPTY RAIN

Nothing falls like empty rain
See the driven dearranged
Tenants swallow up in earth
Into this chasm goes our birth
Fallen king which plays my land
Do I wish for salt in hand ?
Savour your life, twilight come
Whistle gently to the hum.

Silence and space
Fills with the grace
Into the void with a wretched face
Fills with treason, out of place.

Fortune and fate, our closest friends of time -
From freedom's gate, to mark an early design,
Senses wait, a lasting fierce revenge
To obliterate, our eternal senses sublime.

Sense and soil, form a sign
Fallen angel entwined
The id escapes, the karma gone
Zero gravity our journey done.
