TELEMACHOS AND SISYPHUS by Phil WallingTELEMACHOS AND SISYPHUS
Twilight ripples in unknown space unfolds into perception
Dawning a candle with a flickering flame of echoes
The eyes of two thousand years had missed the crucifiction
And a chance to surrender to the One who knows.
Can you hear the dawn of time?
Can you understand my mind?
If I asked you in a peasant's talking
(So the King of Scarlet would lash out his face)
The question of the universe; the riddle of space
The rider in the storm; the face of Telemachos.
And I Sisyphus, would render you helpless at the eve of destruction
And I Sisyphus, would pity the Evil Ones and fight against the Angels of God
Beware the power of the annointed One, who'll cause you all annilation
Who would knock you down to the face of the earth, its very sod
Drain your minds disciples, answer to me!
Flee to the fury and waves of the sea
So the wrath of Telemachos is my shadow. . .
Realize your ways and enter into my fiery hell!
Do not sit and wonder; but come to my place and dwell. . .
Where the music whines and you have only your soul to sell.
