OF GODS AND MEN

by Phil Walling

OF GODS AND MEN

There are gods and there are men.
I have heard the groans of dead men’s bones...
Listen to the wind -
It fears no man
No man,
No man.

Who are the gods? They can’t be men.
I have chanced upon a princess in drag -
Soft - she fears no man
No man,
No man.

What knowledge is envisioned in visions?
Your card is on the table.
Come and peel off the label...

Destined
To begin,
Again.

Gods and men have the same quality, they both wear masks to hide their true nature. Nice write Phil.
