Confusion by Tota LongmireThe false smile falls from my face,
Allowing pain to contract my eyebrows.
Tearless cries of agony and
Muttered curses issued forth from bitten lips.
Fast driving and loud music,
All to drown my senses,
And to abuse my mind.
Trying to stop the twisting confusion,
Wiggling around violently inside my head.
I want to know all,
All the answers to all the questions.
Yet I am afraid to ask,
Even the simplest questions.
Afraid to open Pandora's box,
And face my demons. 01/02/2005 Posted on 01/02/2005 Copyright © 2024 Tota Longmire
