if we ran away together, we'd only be running away by Olivia Weinkeini wish i could recognize you
with your torso swaying helplessly from one
contradiction to the next.
all of these mistakes you've made do not
define you.
but for the last seven days i have been trying to find a way
around them.
seems we truly cannot find it within ourselves to overlook
all things.
the mud that clings to our shoes.
eyes that cannot keep from looking
away.
12/29/2004 Author's Note: it's been awhile & this is all i could get out. ughhh.

Posted by Maureen Glaude on 12/30/04 at 01:02 AM I like it. Feels like starcrossed or hopeless love, though, and I don't like that. Who does? Yet plenty of wistful passion. |
