Author's Note: Repost--- I revised this and reposted it. I wrote this a long time ago. It was for my 7th or 8th grade English class. We had to write a poem describing different sensory experiences. I chose a baby being born. I think this is one of my personal faves. I adore its simplicity and I think the pining-to-return sort of air to it gives off a nostalgic feeling we all ought to remember about the womb.
