Dusk Tears

by Sam Roberts

This is a tear falling
And her nakedness for all to see
Scaring red rope,
A little wish, on her lip
Fork lighting; iridescent eyes
Colouring a void
On a pallid background

Sam, this is wonderful. The nakedness of raw emotion, not very well hidden. Yeah, I relate. Good work.

Baring one's emotion and becoming naked to the world is difficult --but liberating. The images haunt and sting and resonate with emotion that ripples through the reader's soul. Thanks for sharing.
