Fog

by Leonard M Hawkes

beyond the Window
I see only White

on snowy days
in a blinding swirl
I would stay at home
stoke the fire
and suffer deliciously

but this blank blandness
thin dank and piercing
penetrates both Heart and Bone
and restlessly I bumble
in search of Blue
