"Seeing You"

by Max Phineas

More than I’d enjoy
A symphony
More than I want world
harmony
More than I’d fancy a
Brand new car, I need to see your face again.

For deeper than the ocean floor
And bluer than a pure azure
More soothing than a
Jazz guitar
Are your sparkling, shining eyes

Much softer than a child’s hair
And gentler than a baby bear
And whiter than the
Nighttime stars
Is your brilliant smile.

So maybe when we meet again
Be it dawn or dusk,
By boat or train
Above the rainbow,
On Saturn or Mars
Please just hold me for awhile.
