... that's when you notice you're the only
fare on that west-bound train;

choose to be Willa Cather, for a time
seeing the world through her eyes,
at least trying to.
and when all

the
words
arenotconnected,
but
standing apart --miles........
....apart--from each other,
that's when you grab a word,
anyword and be like Lash LaRue
pop that whip, spin that word into
a pregnancy of attachment and
meaning that only your mind
can stop...
just like you started.
