There is a force
moving in all around me
encompassing my skin like
water.

Wading in like
autumn tides, it brings
with it new meaning, new life, and
trash.

Simple discarded
mementos from a life now
forgotten, a life now laid to
waste.

It's powerful though,
to see it all in front of you
lined up to remind you of all the
mistakes

that were made.
Leaving you to filter through
what was, what is, forcing new
vision

for your destined
path. Push off from shore
and grab the rushing tide, don't
let it

slip
away.
