I’m in Hell. Today
is Hell, full of fearful patriots
and happy terrorists. Bush’s Admin
wants us to believe that Hell
is necessary.
Telling us Hell is better than Hades
(Picture America being the West Bank).
Well fuck Hell and fuck Hades, give me America.

America is dead, she never reached
technology bliss of Century 21.

Where is she?

She lays motionless, cold. A forever beached beauty of the seas,
flies swarming her dried out flesh and birthing maggots
in her wounds. Many devote their life in search
of a cause, collecting Kodak papers, labored manuscripts,
and profane video clips. Donning badges of flags on their breasts.

You mean those over zealot Patriots!
They need to rise from their Bush-induced
comas, and stop the flow of their intravenous feeding tubes
pumping lies after lies after more lies into their red, white, and blue veins.

People need to wake up
and smell the bullshit that they’re stepping in.
If we don’t regulate the emissions of 1600
Pennsylvania Avenue, forget about global warming.
It will be WWIII, Doomsday, Apocalypse now.

And already I’m writing…
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by lies, starving
hysterical, bold-faced lies,
Dragging themselves through FNC and O’Reilly all day long look-
ing for an angry fix of conservative psychobabble,
Airheaded patriots chanting on the Mall, desperate for a glimpse of
our Thief in Chief,
Who poverty and bad health and delusion sit up and gaze at the per-
jured lips of a monkey, fearing fear, empowering the Elephant
King to come one step nearer domination of Earth.

So tell me Ginsberg, would you live in my world?
Or like me, do you prefer your world
where it seems as if people ruined their own lives?

Howl for America, the great return!

'Howl for America, the great return!', the sarcasm is so distinctly visible.
