My toes are turning purple
Are those iscicles in my veins?
Three layers of clothing
But only one layer of care
The power companies have
Forgotten us, I'm sure
The little house
Near the corner
Lacking firewood
So we sit and play Clue
Squeezing in close
To ward off the chill
Phones are gone too
We hear the Waffle Houses are packed
Oh, I see how it is!
The Waffle Houses get power first
Then the little house
Near the corner
Lacking firewood

These power companies need to get their priorities straight!
