Those days are gone
And you call that proof
Say peace just couldn't be
'Don't trust anyone over 30'
That's a distant naive joke to you

Minds expansive
Love minus commitment
You say these things are wrong
And the children are singing songs
And the soldiers are dying
And the government doesn't seem to care

And those power-pushing-petunias-pascifists must be out of their expansive minds!

But I don't agree

So I'll put away possessions
I'll walk to Woodstock with Joni
I'll grow my own little garden
And live always with flowers in my hair
