pain trilogy

EVERY EXPLOSION LEAVES A MESS (PAIN TRILOGY: PART 1)

How many more times will we trip
And then pull ourselves back up?
You know that every explosion
Always leaves some trouble for us
And this one was earth-shattering
But we'll keep on moving forward
Though the sounds pierce my ears
Though the pain falls on me like bricks
I'm going to keep the faith
And pray we figure this out

THUNDERSTORM (PAIN TRILOGY: PART 2)

What is going on outside?
This tiny house can't handle winds like these
Rain pours like arrows from a vengeful sky
Taking all its pain out on me
Everyone else runs to take cover
But here I am outside myself
Watching the storm beat upon my house
Knowing there's nothing I can do
Except hope that a rainbow is coming

LONELY (PAIN TRILOGY: PART 3)

Her smile must mean more than mine
Her laugh issues a thousand more
And here I sit listening to 'Mr. Lonely'
Oh, how I know his pain
The strain I hear in his voice
He's been forgotten as I have
Pushed away for someone new
Just like me
And that's why I'm lonely
I'm Ms. Lonely
