My Sunshine came to me today
But she only stayed a while
I cried along with her
As I held her in my arms
Did she know she would leave this soon?
So many months she danced
Now she only cries
Where was her angel today?
Didn't God send one?
Maybe the angel was there
Waiting to dance with my Sunshine
Dance right out of my sight
Why couldn't she have stayed?
Maybe it's better to dance in Heaven
Than to weep bitterly on earth
So I waved goodbye to her
And softly sang 'Let it Be'
'There will be an answer-
Let it be'
Then I let it be
And I let her go
