stronger?
all this lattice energy
and great numbers of electrical charges
make up the structure of the crystal
I'm overcome whenever a crystal is melted or dissolved
yeah, overcome
by your kinetic energy
am I less?
are you stronger?
I though you didn't totally dominate
our thoughts roll and slide over each other
... liquids ...
... similar to gases ...
they take the shape of their container
are your emotions more dense?
they don't expand like mine
mine aren't easily compressed
you've got crystals
so many patterns
as you maximize
similar to when
you minimize
we're complete opposites
I've known you three billion years
climbing a crystal lattice
counting the number of particles
your heart is relative to the size of the particles
I was alone seven days
looking like wallpaper
taking its shape ... seeing that
you've got crystals
so many shapes
our varying conditions
take us down more than one path
as you smell of sulfur
and taste like arsenic
we're pulled together by electrical forces
holding tightly
or just barely
