love regained


can the love that once was ours,
ever be regained?
kisses on our face showered?

or should we shrug while catching gusts,
like Atlas, maybe drop the world
and live on our lusts?

we could use them 'til love returns,
bringing a cool flame,
instead of one that burns.

i'll try, and you the same for me.
if you do the like,
we two will make three.
