by J. P. Davies
Reach back, and remember,
before all of this happened.
Did you ever live so free?
The way we live: High Drama
And it only grows and multiplies
until the air is thick with utterings
and half muttering, "You never hear."
The way we breathe: No Spaces
Just an ever hectic rushing
toward ultimate redemption.
Finding escape from comfort.
The way we love: Just Always
Is enough, enough, enough.
To be the most beautiful,
thing ever seen by eyes.
That never once opened
or realized. That it's there.
Only reaching to find if perhaps
destiny will take it in hand and
guide to the waiting void,
that is our only heart.
Author's Note: Is this the way we live? Or am I just dreaming?

Tis the way we live, surely. The very end is intriguing...I don't quite no how I feel about it, the waiting void being our only heart i mean.

Well put... Seems like a very free poem, with a little structure applied. I like it.
