shadows can be sunlight
in a heart beat if you

Let beautiful eyes
drive the sadness in
your deepest heart to
bleed a way and cloat
the wounds love did.

Let's drink from wine
glasses about how
we sacrificed everything
for a day dream about
knights and princess.

I'll hold you if you
hold me when I talk
about how in a brief
second I believed in
a happily ever after.

I'll give you the world,
and tell you that love
is around the corner.
And I'll lie and
sulk in my darkest
mind.

I'll kiss you on the cheek,
and treat you like a queen.
But I'll beat myself up like
a slave gluttoned with self pity.

I'll keep you warm,
but grow cold because
of the joy you found in life.
So I'll die and you'll live,
and I'll dream and you will
live.

I'll day dream my world by,
and maybe when death comes
I won't notice it slink by.
I'll laugh at loves gone,
and loves that will never be.

So I'll day dream with you
if you spend the time with me.
