descent by Rhyana Fisherthe defining spark,
words sliding into place
synchronized with need and emotion -
missing.
can'tcatchitbouncingoutofreach
slithery words slipping like silvered salmon thru a battered net of sanity tattered, tearing, torn darkness falling fast and faster in a closed mind stretching, straining, breaking mind
fluid, malleable unreality beckons
the spark (will o' wisp) awaits that final unwary footfall
into sandsink depths beyond solid rationality
leaden memories snigger
as madness fails another attempt
to snare oblivion's oblivious attention

step in step with need and emotion,' it seems. since I can see the intellect guiding the emotions never letting it over flow, despite the state depicted in this scene.Descent can inter change into ascent, depending into the inpressions one gathers along this descent.
