Gwen is Suffocating

by Vikki Owens

Gwenny face down now,
on a bed thats not her own,
and all around the wall have watched
her slow dissolve.

Coverlets and throw pillows, a sea of foriegn
sheets and tangles, linens, duvets.....
she is absorbed all the more into
the makings of herself, and the thread count
creeps higher with
the twining of her hair.

This is quite haunting. I like it.

Very terse picture of emotion here. Enjoyed it.
