Forever In Our Minds by James ZealyBrutal agonizing
Tears terrorizing
Her things wafting silent
Misty Glazed eyes unseeing
Memories thrive
Words depict mental
Images of stern directness
Mixed with care and passion
Peaceful countenance
Pain free specter
Of the warm life left ended
As those left try to find
A way to mend broken dreams
To appease the loss
Digging deep within
Unable to think of a world
Where she is not present
Yet, it is peaceful
No pained cries
No desolate despair
No life sapping struggle
To breathe, just to breathe
An emptiness is
Waiting to be filled
By softening memories
Free of pain
Free of conflict
As the matriarch
Still directs
Her drifting throng
With thoughts full of her words
Forever in our minds 10/08/2004

Posted by Alison McKenzie on 10/08/04 at 05:04 PM James, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your words so eloquently describe your pain, and because of that, there is beauty even in the depth of your sadness. |
Posted by Michelle Angelini on 10/08/04 at 09:17 PM James, I'm sorry to hear that. My comment is the same as Alison's. I care, and I'm here if you need to "talk" or let feelings out. |
