Your Photograph Serves Me Well

by Amanda L Marron

I can’t seem to forget your face
No matter how hard I try
To conceal it with a mask
The more I see it in front of me
Olive skin, so smooth
Eyes of brandy, with a sparkle
Full, red lips
Bright smile as the dazzling sun
I know your face
As I know my own
